The Problem

Standard concrete block does exactly what it was designed to do as a structural and partition material — but controlling heavy structure-borne vibration is a different job, one that calls for deliberate mass, thickness, and continuity beyond what a typical partition assembly is built to provide.

ArmorBlock is a modular, high-mass concrete block system that provides passive vibration and noise attenuation through density, thickness, and continuity. Rather than relying on active systems or fragile assemblies, it uses mass to reduce energy transmission at the source.
